"Keep these words that I am commanding you today in your heart." Deuteronomy 6:6-7
This section of the site will grow as time goes by. The purpose here is to provide basic instructions for using the site. If you have a question other than what is covered here, please do email us at info@gotell.org and we will do our best to answer your question as quickly as possible.
Organization of the Site
The site is organized in several sections including the home page, narratives, lections, workshops, digital telling, resources, about GoTell, and then this page. These sections can be accessed by clicking on the horizontal menu bar just below the page header.
The narratives page lists the biblical stories we have covered so far by book and story. The lections page lists the biblical stories we have covered so far by the year and date that it comes up in the Revised Common Lectionary. These two pages present the same information, just in differnent types ways. Once you click on the links within each page, you will be directed to another page, a story page. This page is the same whether you get to it from the narritives page or whether you get to it from the lections page.
The worshops page is where we offer video and sometimes audio of various workshops that GoTell has lead in the areas of biblical storytelling and digital culture ministry.
The digital telling page has links to PowerPoint files with theme slides for certain biblical stories. This is not a comprehensive offering, rather a taste of what can be done. We hope to expand this section more in the future but for now, our focus is on recording the stories of the lectionary.
The resources page offers information and links to other sites for your consideration and work in the Spirit. Simply click on either the main title of the site or the image for each site to navigate to that site (it will come up in another window so that you can easily get back to the GoTell site by simply closing the other window).
The about GoTell page offers information about GoTell's mission and vision. It also offers biographical information and photographs of the GoTell team.
